Got the large lobster roll meal - enough for two. Very accommodating server (Karen?) allowed us to taste lobster both ways. Came w/2 small side salads & chips which makes it a much better deal than most nearby. Fresh tasting food.

Delicious lobster roll and sides were awesome. Never had a lobster roll before and went with her recommendation. Tried the crab meat too and wow! Will be stopping tomorrow for the Big Sexy crab meat! Super nice people too !

Our first lobster rolls in Maine and we were not disappointed. Lots of meat, great toasted bun and served with a pineapple coleslaw that was great. Also got the French fries which were niceAnd hot. Great overall experience.

FRESH Maine seafood. Their small crabmeat roll is everyone else's large. Grilled lobster and cheese sandwich is my new favorite!!!!

Local jewel! This place serves a variety of seafood ranging from lobster roll, crab roll, and fishermen platter. The owner was also very friendly. Putting that aside the price is reasonable pairing with good flavor I would definitely go back there again.

Great little hidden spot. Generous portions of lobster in their lobster roll and crab in their crab roll. It's exactly the kind of roadside spot you think of when you think of Maine.

This is the place to get scratch your lobster itch. True, you can't drive through Midcoast Maine without tripping over dozens of these shacks, but if you find yourself on Rt 27 near Boothbay Harbor, skip everyone else and come here. A quick 10 minute drive from more popular spots in town, you'll avoid the long lines at other places and get (in my opinion) a superior lobster roll. Friendly folks, and it feels like you're just hanging out in Karen's back yard. Get a live lobster packed to go next door. 100% Maine.

Friendly little lobster shack on the side of the road that offers non-seafood options for those in the group that aren't interested in lobster, scallops, clams, fish and other tasty goodies.We got the fried seafood combo, and it was huge!!! We left way too full, but also very happy. Highly recommended!

Worth a stop on the way to Boothbay, for the lobster rolls or anything else. Great hotdogs and apparently has one awards for their hamburgers. Seats in the backyard, just bring the bug spray - even during the day.

Great stop for some incredibly delicious seafood. I suggest the Crab Melt and pinappine coleslaw.

We visited Karen and family twice during our stay and it was excellent both times. I went for the lobster roll and left talking about the potato salad.

Am tour bus driver. Saw this place on my way in to Boothbay Harbor. Decided to try it out for lunch. WOW! Stuffed lobster roll, loaded potato salad and chips for an extremely reasonable price! Seafood was fresh, delicious and the service by Karen's daughter in law was superb! Would highly recommended! Next time I'm trying their crabmeat roll!!!

Best haddock sandwich we had in Maine. Such generous portions at Karen’s. Also loved Garry and his fresh lobster.

Outstanding! Worth the short trip. My kind of dining sometimes, ( take out and picnic tables )we had a very nice and generous portion of fish and scallops and the fish was some of the very best evah. The scallops were excellent too. We got a hearty thank you , and was asked how everything was, which goes along way. We'll be back!

For roadside dining experience, i'd say it was great. We had fish baskets made with Haddock. More fish than I could eat. If you go away hungry, I would say its your own fault. Very generous portions!

We had the scollop basket, haddock sandwich, and small lobster roll. It all was good, no complaints. The haddock sandwich was the best deal money wise.

Karen's is a friendly and delicious place to stop for a bite or a seafood feast. Their seafood is as fresh as it gets short of cooking it on the boat it was caught from. Their prices are quite competitive and their portions put the competition to shame. Bring cash, an appetite, and a cooler to hold the live lobster you can get next door.

Great and easy stop on the way to Boothbay. Enormous fish portions on the fish sandwich, crispy fries and friendly fast service. Big meals make these prices a super deal! Will definitely be back.

What a gem. We stopped because it had good recommendations on Trip advisor and it was SPOT ON! Probably the best meal for the price we had in Maine. The fish and was huge and cooked perfectly. Such a great place to eat. Karen was very nice and polite also.

Found this place a few years ago kinda random just driving around and loved it and have been back a few times since. Did I mention I live over an hour away!!

Great experience- lobster roll basket, cheeseburger, mac and cheese bites. It's hard to say which was more delicious- the pineapple cole slaw or loaded potato salad. You should probably get both. You can't tell from the road, but there are shady picnic tables out back.

Karen is super friendly & excited about the food she serves! The lobster roll was good, but the crab melt was freaking spectacular!!! I wish I could take a bag of them home with me!!! Don't miss the pineapple coleslaw! It is by far the best coleslaw I've ever had!!
